Is this what you think as soon as hostel food hits your mind.
Than well i have some sympathisers. This poor fellow Aram has been a hosteller since the last 5 years (bonus : i had cooked one whole year own my own). I had always hated the hostel food to such an extend that today i find it hard to eat non-veg as it reminds me of that rubber-like, slippery and ill-cooked chicken. Well i think if you want to leave non-veg you should join a hostel . I promise and guarantee n warantee n give u all assurances that when you go back home you'll give ur mom a tight hug and thank her for the food she has cooked for you (and feel like shoutin at her for cooking the hostel episode in ur life).
Well hostel food is something which has no taste. The taste comes from the people with whom we are eating. Siting with frens we eat the food not realising the taste as we are lost in the world of conversation. Today i miss my school hostel days where I and Ankur used to formulate theories (which were disgusting enough) about the whitish, brownish and complicated textured daal. But one thing i loved about sawan (my old school) was the aaloo ki sabzi on wednesdays. It still makes my mouth go watery. The tuesday jalebi was my other favourite and if you have chandra bhaisaab or aalam bhaisab to get you the perfect roti then you would want no more from life. Today i am in college, where i learn that the hostel that i used to hate was infact good (except the politics that always go on there). The only bad thing about my old school was may be the students of whom i was apart along with some teachers who sometimes seemed to take pleasure from our pains (i forgot the perfect word here) . But life goes on and today i am in a new episode. Lets see what life has in store for me in the future. For now it is just DR. ARAM BAN GAYA ENGINEER.
